Twomey by Silver Oak Sauvignon Blanc 2015

North Coast, California

The 2015 Sauvignon Blanc is an alluring, expressive wine embodying the facets of the four estate vineyards. The blend of mineral-driven fruit from the Sonoma County vineyards and the lush tropical aromas derived from the Napa Valley vineyards develops complexity in the glass. Hints of white gold and straw illuminate this wine. The bouquet bursts with mango, guava and gardenias, while the sculpted palate focuses citrus and minerality into lime zest and wet slate. The bright attack, rich full body and refreshingly long finish are redolent of citrus acidity. The perfumed tropical notes stem from the dynamic terroir we work with. This is a medium weight wine to be paired with a variety of foods from an hors d'oeuvre of zesty gazpacho to a creamy seafood risotto. It will be a pleasant accompaniment to any meal. The 2015 Sauvignon Blanc is a wine to be enjoyed throughout the year.

Pairings - Raw Bar Selections and Fresh Catch

Twomey by Silver Oak Merlot 2011

Napa Valley, California

Our 2011 Soda Canyon Ranch Merlot is a rich, dark, concentrated expression of this noble variety. It has a dark ruby color with red highlights and a robust nose of blackberry confit, cassis, roasted meat and dark chocolate. It has a velvety attack and an extremely long, slightly tannic finish. Given proper cellaring, this wine should give drinking pleasure through 2028.

Silver Oak Winery Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 -

Alexander Valley, California

The 2013 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is garnet in color with a ruby red rim, it has an alluring nose of blackberry bramble, baking spices, and black olive. Aromas of vanilla, cassis, and sage fill the glass, revealing the influence of American oak barrel aging. On the palate, notes of raspberry are complemented with lingering acidity and a finish of dusty, silky tannins. Given proper cellaring, this wine will provide drinking pleasure through 2036.

Pairings: Great with any of our Steaks, especially the bone in Ribeye
